Kefir with Ground Flaxseeds

Nutrition Tips

Kefir is a fermented milk beverage with a tart, tangy taste. It’s creamy and packed full of key nutrients including calcium, protein, and probiotics. Kefir may also contain vitamin D if fortified. Enjoy kefir with breakfast, as a snack, or post-workout as a recovery drink. I love sprinkling with ground flaxseeds for an extra nutritional boost. Ground flaxseeds have a mild, nutty taste and are a rich source of heart-healthy omega-3 fatty acids and fiber.

  • Protein – keeps us feeling full & satisfied between meals, builds & repairs muscle tissues
